Maximo Integration Framework Developer

Responsible for gathering, and analyzing customer system requirements and developing Maximo to meet those requirements Daily interface with the customer SME’s working as part of an Agile Scrum Team. Demonstrated advanced-level skills in automation scripting, integration, and SQL are essential to success in this role. In addition to strong technical knowledge of Maximo, strong troubleshooting skills and communication skills are needed.

The consultant will work both independently and as part of a team, depending on day-to-day project needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maximo 7.5 or higher Deployment Professional Certification
• Experience implementing at least 2 other complex Maximo Systems deliveries preferably at least one of which was a Maximo for Mobile Telecommunications implementation.
• Experience in working on Agile Development Teams, preferable with SAFE Agile experience and/or certification.
• Proven experience in successful Maximo deliveries.
• Proven experience as a senior developer and tech lead
• Must have designed and developed interfaces between Maximo and ERP/Purchasing systems like SAP using Maximo integration framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, but demonstrated experience may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and configure IBM Maximo.
• Develop scripts and applications to automate and enhance Maximo’s capabilities.
• Must have designed and developed interfaces between Maximo and ERP/Purchasing systems like SAP using Maximo integration framework.
• Develop interfaces between Maximo and ERP or other third-party systems using interface tables, flat files and web services.
• Map requirements to technical solutions using Maximo out-of-the-box configuration utilities.
• Configure Maximo using workflow, automation scripts, conditional expressions, or other tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot existing scripts and system issues, working directly with end users to understand symptoms, reviewing existing configuration, data and logs to determine root cause, resolution, and/or work-around as appropriate.
• Document configuration changes and working with end users, business analysts, and QA to provide well-communicated solutions that meet client needs.
• Migrating data from old Maximo versions to Maximo 7.5/7.6 using upgrade utility or any other ETL tool.
• Prior experience in customization, extending out of box applications in Maximo.
• Creating Attributes, objects, relationships in Maximo using application designer and database configuration.
• Developing custom user exits (Java and Stored procedure.
