Financial Systems Integration Lead
Support the optimization and integration of financial systems and processes across all functions. Financial systems include Warehouse Management Systems, i-3PL, SAP, BPC, Salesforce, Road Sync, and PowerBI. Serve as the finance lead for WMS conversions and acquisition integrations, developing and implementing process automation solutions, improving system configurations, diagnosing and correcting system faults, and proving associate training across AMC. Work is project-based and requires project management skills to organize abstract issues into work-streams, set timelines for deliverables, manage resources without formal reporting relationships, and drive issues to resolution.
This candidate will also be responsible for the billing systems and will be training alongside office managers, general managers and process managers on the process of billing the company’s overall customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership for carrying out assigned strategic projects from the FIS Director. Complete Project Charters to establish new projects, build project teams, lead project management calls/meetings, complete necessary work items promptly, and travel as necessary for successful project completion.
- Serve as the Finance lead on system projects driven by other functions (Information Technology, Engineering, Business Development, M&A). This includes the integration of acquisitions and WMS conversions. Will require summarizing status updates from multiple Finance groups for project leadership (Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Treasury...).
- Leverage systems knowledge and relationship networks to ensure all impacted parties are made aware and are properly included in testing throughout the project and before go-live.
- Provide weekly updates to the Director of Financial Systems on all assigned projects.
- Work with a sense of urgency and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Conduct ongoing billing SOP training for Office Managers to drive a billing excellence culture across AMC, including the development and support of a site self-audit program.
- Provide onsite and remote support for system changes (WMS conversions, i-3PL enhancements, SAP/Fiori upgrades).
- Diagnose complicated billing issues and work cross-functionally (TSG, Operations, Finance) to correct and improve processes going forward.
- Understand the relationships between financial systems and business processes and partners cross functionally to facilitate process automation, system optimization, and overall continuous improvement.
- Identify new uses of existing data to streamline and improve current business processes (ex. Connect Salesforce WRA data to SAP S4 to automatically create new customers).
- Train corporate and operations functions on integrated systems (i-3PL, SAP, Fiori, SharePoint, BPC, PowerBI) to drive data based decision making.
- Maintain relationships and communication with internal customers to facilitate completion of milestones in cross functional projects.
- Respond swiftly to issues and report to management at extreme times if necessary.
Requirements:
- 5 years of business experience with a technical or systems troubleshooting background.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, information systems, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform abstract problem solving.
- End user experience across multiple systems is beneficial (ex. SAP, i-3PL, Salesforce, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Excel)
- Project Management experience (PMP certification, Kaizen training, or related work experience)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbally.
- Demonstrates integrity and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
- Develop strong, sustainable working relationships with internal teams.
Additional Requirements:
- Will require 25-50% travel by automobile and airplane during peak times. Non-peak times will involve less travel. Upon start of job, travel will not be expected until training has been completed.
