QA​/QA Automation Lead

Job Title

Position will be 80% testing and 20% lead for both manual and automation testing efforts.

Experience in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer etc. Background in JavaScript based QA automation tools preferred.

Hands on experience and understanding of API testing using POSTMAN, REST API, Chrome dev tools.

Generate and maintain complex test data sets. Keep hands-on involvement in both manual and automation test efforts to guide team efforts.

Develop and run test plans to find and root-cause defects in owned features (e.g. UI manual and automation, etc.)

Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, strategy and test cases

Build and maintain automated regression tests with changing business rules to provide rapid and consistent deployment and testing capabilities.

Prepare requirement traceability matrix.

Collaborate with the Dev team on timely, accurate and robust follow-ups to dev/test requests.

Initiate discussion with developers and leads on progress updates and suggestions.

Contribute and share knowledge of test proficiencies to optimize team effectiveness.

Architect and own the QA automation environment and work with dev team to integrate in the dev code base.

Must be familiar with the agile methodology and scrum teams.
