Under limited supervision, coordinates, designs, and secures databases to store, track, and maintain large volumes of critical business information. Serves as a subject‑matter expert, providing authoritative guidance for professional staff. May also serve in a lead role. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to automate monitoring, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and conduct root cause analysis across hybrid, multi‑cloud, and microservices architectures within the INET Program.

• Configure, maintain, and optimize monitoring solutions using Dynatrace.
• Enable end‑to‑end visibility across infrastructure, systems, and applications.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and health checks to ensure system health and reliability.
• Monitor service performance and availability and set alert thresholds to minimize false positives.

• Monitor Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support monitoring of databases, middleware, and network components.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to identify trends and capacity needs.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact production.

• Use Dynatrace to monitor application performance and transaction flows.
• Support synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring.
• Work closely with application teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage.
• Assist in troubleshooting performance issues at both the application and system level.

• Participate in incident response efforts related to performance and availability.
• Provide monitoring insights during troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Identify and close monitoring gaps.

• Enhance monitoring standards and documentation.
• Recommend improvements to monitoring configurations and alert strategies.
• Support integration of monitoring tools with IT Service Management platforms.

Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or monitoring roles.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.

• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic networking understanding (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Experience with scripting or automation tools like Power Shell or Bash (preferred).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container monitoring.
• Experience with ITIL practices and regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services).

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive mindset.

• Demonstrate ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and management – Required 5 Years
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – Required 5 Years
• Experience with scripting or automation tools like Power Shell or Bash (preferred) – Required 5 Years
• Basic networking understanding (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing) – Required 5 Years
• Experience migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS – Required 5 Years
• Knowledge of recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, KPIs and SLAs – Required 5 Years
• Familiarity with enterprise log analysis frameworks and tools like Jira or Service Now – Required 5 Years
• Exposure to AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification (Preferred) – Required 3 Years
