Under broad supervision, manages projects through the full life cycle from definition to implementation. Creates collaborative partnership with internal and external team members to accomplish deliverables. Leads and manages multiple end‑to‑end IT applications and software projects while reinforcing best practices. Drives process improvement, documentation management, and project governance to ensure follow‑through, timeliness, and accuracy across the portfolio. Requires 5+ years of experience managing software and IT applications projects, proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and ability to run large projects with minimal oversight.

Read and extract scope, deliverables, milestones, and obligations from contractual documentation and translate those requirements into actionable project plans
- Collaborate with other PMs, clients, vendors, and engineering teams on various projects, presentations, and meetings ensuring continuous alignment on multiple projects.
- Manage project tracking and reporting through a structured Waterfall framework to ensure full compliance visibility and no gaps in milestone or deliverable accountability while supporting Agile teams.
- Review and interpret contractual documentation to extract scope, deliverables, compliance obligations, and key milestones.
- Provide attention to detail in internal and external email communications to produce relevant, valuable responses.
- Identify relevant audiences for meetings and prepare project charters, kick‑off presentations, business drivers, communication plans, scope, phases, and next steps for planning schedules.
- Conduct meeting analysis resulting in facilitation of routine meetings/ceremonies to track projects and maintain project boards and dashboards using Jira and Service Now.
- Escalate to other groups when necessary.
- Maintain project status, update roadmaps, and adhere to defined project structure standards.
- Draft process and “how to” documentation.
- Identify project constraints, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reinforce agreed upon priorities, policies, and team best practices.
- Utilize project management software: MS Project/Project Online, SharePoint Project Template, Jira, Confluence, Service Now.
- Maintain, update, and archive project notes, follow‑ups, and documentation.
- Use Outlook features including alert functions and Scheduling Assistant.
- Generate and archive notes from project meetings to support management decision‑making.
- Ensure communication channels are available for all projects, including escalation processes.
- Hybrid work with expectation to come onsite to the Atlanta (Midtown) office as needed.
- 5+ years of project management experience with software development or IT applications.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies in a hybrid delivery environment.
- Proficiency with MS Project or Project Online for schedule development and management.
- Highly proficient in writing, editing, and follow‑through.
- Experience reading contractual documentation and extracting scope, deliverables, and compliance obligations.
- Relevant college experience or applicable certifications (preferred) or college degree (preferred).
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification.
- College degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
