Senior Data Migration Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a large-scale Core Banking Conversion initiative. This individual will play a critical role in analyzing, mapping, and migrating data from legacy banking platforms while ensuring business continuity across reporting, integrations, and operational processes. • Lead data discovery and analysis efforts across multiple source systems participating in the core banking conversion.
• Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements related to data migration and integration.
• Perform detailed data mapping
  , data lineage analysis
  , and data quality assessments to support conversion activities.
• Analyze and define requirements for ETL pipelines
  , SFTP-based data transfers
  , and system-to-system integrations.
• Identify data dependencies, transformation logic, and downstream impacts to ensure successful migration outcomes.
• Partner with business stakeholders, application owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable data specifications.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Data Team and other technology work streams, driving alignment and proactive dependency management.
• Support testing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities throughout the conversion lifecycle.
• Ensure continuity of critical reporting, operational processes, and regulatory requirements during the migration.

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst working in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in:
  Data Mapping, Data Lineage Analysis, Data Migration & Conversion, ETL Processes and Pipelines, and SFTP File Transfers.
• Requirements Gathering and Documentation
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with both business and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with FIS IBS Core Banking platform.
• Experience with Jack Henry Core Banking platforms.
• Proven experience supporting Core Banking Data Conversion or Core Banking Migration initiatives.
• Prior experience supporting large-scale banking modernization or conversion initiatives.
• Understanding of banking operations, customer/account data, loan systems, and financial reporting processes.
