Location: Onsite in Atlanta 4 days/week
Our client is seeking an experienced Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Application Specialist to join their Procurement organization. This role will support the execution of the strategic procurement agenda by implementing, maintaining, and optimizing best-in-class procurement processes and systems across multiple business units.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Coupa platform operates efficiently with minimal system issues, while providing ongoing support, configuration management, user administration, testing, release coordination, and supplier enablement activities. This individual will work closely with Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and maximize the value of procurement technology investments.
This position is based in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities- Provide and coordinate Level 2 support for the Coupa platform across multiple business units.
- Maintain system configuration, monitor control reports, and administer users, roles, approval workflows, and permissions.
- Partner with IT teams and support organizations within established ITIL processes to manage incidents, enhancements, service requests, and system improvements while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Coupa support and administration across North American operations.
- Collaborate with the Coupa Support Desk and external partners to resolve issues and drive system performance.
- Coordinate and manage Coupa release activities, ensuring successful implementation of new functionality with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain system design, configuration, and process documentation, incorporating enhancements, change requests, and new release functionality.
- Ensure change management and deployment control procedures are followed for all system updates and releases.
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing plans for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Partner with IT teams responsible for integrations between Coupa and other enterprise applications.
- Support change management initiatives, user adoption efforts, and training programs.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials and end-user documentation related to new system capabilities and process improvements.
- Support supplier onboarding and enablement initiatives across multiple business units.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting procurement processes, procurement systems, supplier enablement, or procurement operations.
- Experience administering and supporting cloud-based eProcurement platforms.
- Strong understanding of release management, system controls, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience conducting impact assessments and supporting organizational change management initiatives.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Process-oriented with a strong focus on technology-enabled business improvement.
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier onboarding, and procurement transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide procurement applications across multiple business units.
