We are seeking a Salesforce Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our Salesforce CRM system in alignment with our mission and operational needs. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing our Salesforce environment, ensuring seamless integrations with Shopify, Check
21, iCherub, Sage Intacct, Apsona, Classy, and Momentive. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging technology to support a faith-driven organization, improving donor engagement, operational efficiency, and overall mission impact.
- Serve as the primary administrator for our Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) environment and manage implementation of the Nonprofit Cloud.
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings in alignment with organizational policies.
- Maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, record types, and validation rules to support organizational processes.
- Create and manage workflows, process builder flows, approval processes, and automation to enhance productivity.
- Ensure data integrity, duplicate management, and regular data cleaning within Salesforce.
- Oversee and maintain Salesforce integrations with external platforms, including:
- Shopify (eCommerce & donations tracking)
- Check
21 (bank processing) - iCherub (donor management)
- Sage Intacct (financials)
- Apsona (data reporting & management)
- Classy (online fundraising & donor engagement)
- Momentive (surveys & donor feedback)
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot and enhance existing integrations, ensuring data consistency across systems.
- Monitor and resolve integration errors in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the finance and development teams to ensure accurate donation tracking, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Design and generate custom reports and dashboards to provide leadership with key performance insights.
- Develop fundraising, donor engagement, and financial reports using Salesforce Reports, Apsona, and Sage Intacct data.
- Assist departments in leveraging Salesforce data for donor communications and impact measurement.
- Provide ongoing training and support for staff and volunteers, ensuring adoption of Salesforce best practices.
- Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation for staff members.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide timely resolution.
- Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency, user experience, and organizational impact.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce updates, best practices, and new features, implementing relevant improvements.
- Manage Salesforce-related projects, collaborating with leadership, development, finance, and IT teams to align technology with strategic goals.
- 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator (preferably in a non‑profit or faith‑based organization).
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) is highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules).
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Shopify, Check
21, iCherub, Sage Intacct, Apsona, Classy, and Momentive (or similar platforms). - Proficiency in data migration, API integrations, and third‑party connectors (Zapier, Mule Soft, or similar tools).
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Salesforce reports, dashboards, and security settings.
- Understanding of non‑profit donor management, financial reconciliation, and fundraising operations.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical solutions into user‑friendly applications.
- Passion for supporting a faith‑based non‑profit mission.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- A heart for service, with a strong alignment to the organization’s Christian values and mission.
- Experience with Apsona for Salesforce for advanced data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with Shopify’s Salesforce integration for donor and product tracking.
- Knowledge of financial workflows related to Check
21 and Sage Intacct integration. - Experience with email marketing and engagement tools within Salesforce.
