- Translate complex pay rules and region‑specific labor requirements into Workday configuration (time codes, accruals, eligibility rules, time calculations).
- Perform gap analyses and author functional/technical specifications for new or enhanced business processes.
- Maintain documentation for system functionality and cross‑functional processes while defining configuration standards, development conventions, and operational playbooks for releases and incident management.
- Lead biannual Workday release impact assessments, regression strategies, and feature adoption planning for Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll integrations.
- Design robust PECI frameworks including effective‑dated logic, retro activity, error handling, and reconciliation processes.
- Establish data quality rules and exception handling across HR, WFM, and Payroll ecosystems.
- Partner with Data & Analytics to deliver audit‑ready reporting using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Integrations, and Prism.
- Ensure solution designs comply with FLSA, local labor laws, union CBAs, and global privacy/security standards (GDPR, SOC, SOX as applicable).
- Implement controls for segregation of duties, approvals, retro events, and adjustments.
- Maintain audit documentation, test evidence, and control artifacts.

- Hands‑on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Calculated Fields, and Workday Security.
- Deep knowledge of effective‑dated HR data, retro pay impacts, time valuation, accruals, and eligibility logic.
- Experience with release management, tenant lifecycle governance, and regression testing.
- Strong documentation skills, including solution designs, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.
- Workday Pro or Partner certifications in Time, Absence, or Integrations (nice to have).
- Payroll expertise across US FLSA, Canadian provincial rules, and EU working time directives.
- Experience with Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Report‑as‑a‑Service patterns.
- Background in SOX/internal controls and audit…
