Senior Cisco ACI Engineer

• Design and deliver Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solutions that enable scalable, secure and high-performing network environments.
• Lead the deployment of new ACI fabrics, shaping architecture decisions across spine‑leaf topology and controller design.
• Define and implement network policies, tenants and segmentation strategies that protect data and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive automation initiatives that simplify operations, reduce manual effort and improve consistency across network environments.
• Resolve complex network challenges, ensuring high availability and performance across critical systems.
• Influence cross‑functional outcomes by partnering with architects, security teams and application owners to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Develop and elevate team capability by mentoring engineers and sharing best practices that strengthen technical excellence.
• Evaluate new technologies and lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives that advance network innovation and long‑term strategy.

• 7+ years of network engineering experience, with deep expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and data center networking.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
• Proven experience designing and implementing ACI environments, including APIC controllers and Nexus 9000 platforms.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across both ACI and traditional routing and switching environments.
• Experience integrating network infrastructure with virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor others and influence technical direction.
• Familiarity with automation tools and practices, including scripting or Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills, with a drive to solve complex challenges and deliver measurable impact.
