QA Lead

- Lead and manage the QA team, including mentoring and performance reviews.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report on QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tools.
- 7+ years of experience, including 5+ years in software quality assurance and 1-2 years in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands‑on experience with test management tools such as JIRA and Test Rail.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
- Experience with API testing, manual testing, and SQL/No
SQL database testing. - Experience with performance and security testing (plus).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Compensation Range$78,000 - $117,000 per year
BenefitsFull-time employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.
Additional voluntary benefits include short-term disability, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and commuting expenses. Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year, and may participate in the 401(k) plan. Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave and 401(k) benefits, with medical, dental, and vision coverage.
