Well established & growing our cyber security solutions client is seeking a Sales Engineer with 7 plus years of Pre-Sales Engineering experience and a strong background in Network Engineering and troubleshooting. The Sales Engineers need to understand Network Observability, Computer Networking, Network Security and packet‑switched networks. This position requires excellent presentation skills and proficiency in POCs and product demonstrations of Network Observability, Networking and Application Resiliency software products to Enterprise Customers.
The consultative seller must live in the Atlanta, GA area.
Experience selling software or hardware from a vendor perspective is vital!
Technical Requirements- Networking, routing, switching, TCP/IP, Net Flow, BGP, packet‑switching and have worked with Cisco and/or Juniper products.
- Network Observability, Network Performance Monitoring, and Application Performance Monitoring along with a strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Cisco routing, switching, gateways and applications
- TCP/IP, SNMP, Net Flow, BGP, VoIP, Layer 4, 7
- Various topologies, LAN, WAN (MPLS, Frame, ATM)
- Packet‑Switched Networks
- Packet Analyzer / Sniffer / Wire Shark
- Network infrastructure concepts
- Network General (Sniffer) knowledge
- AWS / Cloud / VMWare
- nGenius product experience is an advantage
