Product Manager

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Contract through January 2027)

Brooksource is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support a Delivery Supply Chain organization focused on the backend services that power delivery availability and scheduling throughout the online customer experience.

Working alongside an embedded Agile development team of approximately 10 engineers, this Product Manager will own the product backlog, lead Agile ceremonies, and partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enhancements to critical delivery services. The ideal candidate is technically minded, highly organized, and capable of translating business requirements into actionable work for engineering teams.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for backend delivery services.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Write and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize initiatives.
• Support an embedded Agile development team of approximately 10 software engineers by facilitating delivery and removing roadblocks.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements while communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive product delivery by balancing business priorities, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
• Monitor sprint progress, communicate project status, and ensure timely delivery of product enhancements.
• Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to support continuous product improvement.

• Delivery method eligibility based on the customer's cart.
• Vehicle capacity and availability (car, van, box truck, flatbed, etc.).
• Delivery reservation and scheduling services.
• Estimated delivery dates and delivery calendar functionality.
• Delivery offerings such as standard delivery, threshold delivery, outside delivery, express delivery, overnight delivery, and other accessorial services.

• 2–3 years of Product Management or related experience.
• Experience managing technical or backend software products.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience leading Agile ceremonies.
• Hands‑on experience using Jira.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

• Experience supporting eCommerce, supply chain, logistics, transportation, or fulfillment platforms.
• Experience with capacity planning, reservation systems, or scheduling applications.
• Technical background working closely with software development teams.
• Experience in an enterprise Agile environment.
