AI Governance Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise AI governance frameworks and policies
• Establish standards for responsible AI development, deployment, and monitoring
• Conduct AI risk assessments and model governance reviews
• Partner with legal, compliance, security, and engineering teams on AI initiatives
• Monitor emerging AI regulations and recommend policy updates
• Create documentation supporting AI transparency, explainability, and governance
• Develop processes for AI lifecycle management and ongoing compliance
• Educate stakeholders on AI governance, ethics, and risk management best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Law, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or technology leadership
• Experience developing AI governance or model risk management programs
• Knowledge of responsible AI principles, AI regulations, and privacy requirements
• Familiarity with frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or ISO 42001
• Experience working with technical, legal, and executive stakeholders
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
• Relevant governance, compliance, or risk management certifications are a plus

Hourly range is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by Work Genius.
