Southern Company Services is seeking a
Dev Ops Engineer IV
with
10+ years of experience
to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, and Dev Ops automation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)(preferred), Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, CI/CD pipelines, AI infrastructure, and Fin Ops. This role will help build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI and cloud solutions while driving automation, governance, and operational excellence.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using GCP, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications and cloud-native workloads.
- Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.
- Build scalable AI infrastructure and integrate governance into deployment pipelines.
- Monitor AI models, cloud environments, and application performance.
- Drive Fin Ops initiatives, including cloud cost optimization and resource management.
- Design enterprise observability solutions for AI platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Support AI/ML lifecycle management, monitoring, drift detection, and automated response.
- Develop and support agent-based AI systems and modern Dev Ops practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP (preferred), Azure, or Databricks.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Experience implementing cloud security and governance best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
