Overview
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a Senior Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join the AWS Strategic Industries, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Delivery team. In this role, you will manage a team of Pro Serve HCLS Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You will leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting in HCLS background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
As a Sr. HCLS DPM you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions in HCLS. You’ll engage with directors, C-level executives, and governing boards, while driving opportunity capture and engagement delivery. You will work closely with partner teams; drive business development initiatives through thought leadership;
provide portfolio guidance and oversight; and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. You will define business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and SOWs.
Success is measured by delivering customer engagements on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction; you will contribute to practice utilization and optimize team performance.
Key responsibilitiesBuilding and managing a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants
Collaborating with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features
Developing and overseeing the implementation of innovative, forward-looking IT strategies for customers
Managing practice P&L, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of customer engagements
Driving business development initiatives and exceeding customer satisfaction targets
Lead and mentor teams in delivering customer engagements that align with business outcomes and AWS offerings.
Basic Qualifications8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges
3+ years experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry
Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
Experience with international sales and delivery work with Global Fortune 500 enterprise customers and partners
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology
Experience building and maintaining C-level client relationships
Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation
Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
