Position SummaryThe Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and infrastructure projects across DBHDD facilities. This role manages vendor coordination, technology modernization initiatives, implementation activities, and strategic infrastructure planning to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with agency objectives.
Responsibilities:Technology Planning & Project Delivery
Telecommunications, network, infrastructure, and voice modernization projects. Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations. Coordinate project activities across DBHDD facilities and stakeholders. Provide project status reporting to leadership.
Infrastructure Modernization
Develop and manage infrastructure upgrade roadmaps for:
- Voice Services (VoIP/HVS)
- Data Networks
- Wireless Infrastructure
- Fiber and Structured Cabling
- Public Address Systems
- HVAC Monitoring Systems
- Fire Alarm Infrastructure
- Cisco Endpoint Refresh Programs
Support implementation of emerging technologies and infrastructure enhancements.
Telecommunications & Voice Services
HVS/VoIP transformation initiatives. Develop implementation strategies for voice modernization projects. Coordinate site assessments, inventory reviews, equipment staging, deployment, and migration activities. Ensure successful transition from legacy voice platforms.
Vendor & Contract Management
Maintain partnerships with telecommunications carriers and technology vendors. Coordinate vendor deliverables and project commitments. Participate in technology evaluations and vendor selection processes. Monitor vendor performance and contractual obligations.
Asset & Infrastructure Governance
Oversee inventory management and reconciliation efforts. Ensure infrastructure assets are properly documented in Asset Management systems. Coordinate technology refresh initiatives and equipment lifecycle management.
Special Projects
Assist in enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives. Coordinate network integration projects. Support agency strategic technology initiatives.
