Job Description/Responsibilities:
As a Database Engineer specializing in Redis and Ansible, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing robust, scalable, and secure database systems within our infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure optimal database performance, availability, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining database systems with a focus on Redis and Ansible, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and implementing database design standards.
- Monitoring and optimizing database performance, performing backups and data migrations, and staying updated on new technologies.
- Additional responsibilities may include training team members, participating in code reviews, automating processes, ensuring data compliance, communicating with stakeholders, and proactively addressing potential issues.
Skills:
Redis deployments, configurations, Sentinel, Cluster, performance monitoring tools, cloud platforms (like GCP Memory Store or AWS Elasti Cache), Redis data structures, and persistence mechanisms (RDB and AOF). Experience with Redis modules is a plus.
Develop, maintain, and implement Ansible playbooks and automation scripts.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and automate routine tasks.
Optimize and streamline existing processes through automation.
Ensure consistent management and configuration of server environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible automation tools and processes.
Document automation solutions and processes for reference and training purposes.
Stay updated with the latest Ansible features and technology trends.
