Job Summary
As a key member of the Product Quantitative Analytics team, this position is responsible for providing analytical support on structured energy products such as Guaranteed Bill Product (GBP) or Fixed Bill (FB). This includes the oversight of algorithms and calculation of demand forecast at customer level for millions of customers across multiple existing markets within FL, GA, IL, MI, OH & PA.
The position is also accountable for leading cross‑functional teams to provide analytical support routinely. A major emphasis in this role is developing new forecast models to support the company’s initiatives of offering and growing new Structured Products in expanding markets and thus bring tangible gains to the company.
The position requires demonstrated capability of leveraging statistical and machine learning techniques to improve existing models and build new analytic solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide customer‑specific demand forecast timely and successfully to facilitate the continuous success of existing structured products – lead cross‑functional teams to provide analytical support and visualized business insights to ensure the streamlined process of renewing current and enrolling new customers.
- Build and implement model enhancement processes to continuously improve forecast and reporting accuracy – provide demand forecast for First of Month (FOM) and Year to Go (YTG) processes in selected Local Distribution Centers (LDCs) each month.
- Develop, back‑test and implement new analytical models by leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to support different company initiatives and strategies as requested.
- Develop and provide summary presentations to support commercial operation and financial planning.
- Support internal and external auditing on models and analytics tools.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and modeling skills and knowledge, applying them to business situations for value creation and operational integrity.
- Understand the importance of data analytics to the profitability of the company; be committed to continuous improvement through empowerment and data management and able to make sound recommendations with limited data.
- Prioritize and attend to critical details, accurately scoping the length and difficulty of tasks and projects to meet business goals.
- Identify opportunities to meld existing data architecture with new ones as technology emerges and is adopted at the company.
- Be open to new ideas and techniques, leveraging them to positively impact business decisions and empower end users with appropriate knowledge.
- Ability to establish effective work relationships with all levels of employees and customers.
- Build and lead informal cross‑functional teams to develop modeling tools and analysis reports and present project status and results timely and accurately to appropriate audiences.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and mentor individuals; self‑motivated with minimal supervision required.

- Drive efficiencies through continuous process improvement without implementing undue complexity.
- Be proactive and anticipate the information others need to accomplish objectives.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.) –
