Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, Azure, SRE/Site Reliability
The Dev Ops / Platform Engineer builds and maintains the technical infrastructure that enables AGS's entire AI and data program to run reliably in production. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and the agentic AI deployment platform — including standing up the Microsoft Fabric data foundation and Azure AI Foundry agent runtime that the rest of the transformation program depends on.
The Dev Ops Engineer is a prerequisite for the AI program: without reliable infrastructure, no agent, model, or migrated dataset can reach production.
- Provision and manage the agentic AI platform infrastructure — Azure AI Foundry as the primary agent hosting/runtime environment, Azure AI Search for vector and keyword retrieval, container-based agent deployment, and Azure ML model serving endpoints
- Build the Microsoft Fabric data foundation — support One Lake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, and medallion (bronze/silver/gold) architecture setup, including wave-based migration of on‑prem, Salesforce, and AWS‑hosted interactive data into Fabric
- Container orchestration — manage Docker containers, Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps, Azure Container Registry, Helm charts, and health monitoring for all deployed services
- Implement monitoring and observability — deploy Datadog, Azure Monitor, and Azure ML model monitoring/App Insights for infrastructure health, application performance, AI model latency and drift, and cost tracking
- Implement security and governance controls at the infrastructure level — secrets management (Azure Key Vault), Entra (RBAC, managed identities, SSO), network segmentation and private endpoints (VPN/Express Route), and data lineage/governance via Purview
- Support game build pipelines — understand and support the Unity game build process including certification compliance checkpoints and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game software, AI models/agents, and business applications (Git Hub Actions/Azure Dev Ops) — automated build, test, and deployment without manual intervention
- Create developer‑friendly infrastructure — reduce friction for game developers, AI engineers, and data engineers so they can ship without infrastructure blockers
- 5–8 years of Dev Ops or platform engineering experience
, with demonstrated ownership of cloud infrastructure at a company of comparable technical complexity - Azure expertise (required) — deep hands‑on experience with Azure, AGS's target cloud platform for Fabric and Foundry; AWS familiarity is a plus, since some interactive data currently sits in AWS
- Infrastructure as code proficiency — Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi for reproducible, auditable cloud environments
- Container and orchestration experience — Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps;
Helm chart management; experience scaling containerized workloads - AI/ML infrastructure experience — has deployed LLM‑based applications or ML models to production; experience with vector search (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or pgvector), model serving APIs, and LLM cost management
- CI/CD pipeline expertise — Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or Jenkins; has built pipelines for polyglot environments (multiple programming languages and frameworks)
- Security fundamentals — experience implementing secrets management, network security groups, and cloud IAM (Entra equivalent) integration
- Strong scripting skills — Python and Bash for automation;
Power Shell for Windows/Azure environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (One Lake, Data Factory, Fabric Notebooks) or similar unified analytics platforms
- Experience supporting MLOps infrastructure (Azure ML, MLflow) for model training, registry, and deployment
- Experience with gaming software build pipelines including certification requirements
- Familiarity with Unity game engine build and deployment processes
- Experience with remote device management for distributed hardware fleets
