Job Summary

Responsible for the capture of new revenue opportunities within assigned relationship portfolio. Recognized revenue streams will include licensing and other forms of revenue from corporate partners. Responsible for planning and implementing a coordinated program of revenue-generating business development activities. Use advanced relationship building skills to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward significant corporate relationships. Establish and effectively manage relationships with critical, high-profile prospects.

Co-design and implement strategic business development plans. Manage special events to involve and cultivate prospects. Collaborate with deans and faculty and coordinate with other corporate-facing staff. This position will interact on a regular basis with:
Deans, school chairs, faculty, academic unit and program leadership, and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel:
Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) colleagues, university leadership, internal campus stakeholders and partners, and external corporate partners. This position may supervise: N/A.

Responsibilities

  • Job Duty 1 - Perform corporate relationship management for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and community stakeholders, and partners.
  • Job Duty 2 - Achieve revenue generation through licensing GT intellectual property.
  • Job Duty 3 - Participate in the development and implementation of programs which identify current corporate prospects for revenue generation at Georgia Tech.
