** Job Description*
* The Digital Workplace Product Group within the Technology organization at American Express is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and modern collaboration capabilities to colleagues across the enterprise.

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the strategy, delivery, and ongoing management of enterprise productivity services across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, along their Copilot-enabled experiences.

This role will help enhance the end-user experience across core workplace tools, ensuring employees can work efficiently, securely, and effectively across functions. You will support product updates, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities that streamline workflows and improve productivity at scale.

The ideal candidate has strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, understands how employees use these tools in day-to-day workflows, and is eager to build experience in enterprise product management, integrations, and AI-driven workplace transformation.

** Responsibilities*
* Enterprise End User Product Support

+ Support the day-to-day product management of Microsoft 365 enterprise productivity services used across business units

+ Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing product enhancements, releases, and platform updates impacting end users

+ Help identify opportunities to improve employee workflows, productivity, and user experience across Office applications

+ Partner with senior product managers to ensure a consistent, scalable, and user-centered experience across all M365 tools

+ Help evaluate how employees interact with Microsoft 365 tools and identify opportunities to improve usability and consistency, reduce friction in daily workflows, and enable more effective cross-tool collaboration

Copilot & AI Enablement

+ Support product initiatives related to Microsoft 365 Copilot across enterprise productivity scenarios

+ Assist in evaluating and documenting use cases where Copilot enhances

+ Help validate Copilot functionality, output quality, and user experience across applications

+ Support development of best practices, usage guidance, and training materials for end users adopting AI capabilities

Stakeholder Engagement & End User Insights

+ Partner with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback

+ Help synthesize end-user feedback, adoption insights, and support trends into actionable recommendations

+ Support communication of product updates and changes to impacted user groups

+ Build understanding of enterprise user needs across functions (e.g., Finance, Operations, Risk, HR)

** Qualifications*
* + 2-4 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, or Digital Workplace roles

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and One Note

+ Understanding of how Microsoft 365 tools are used in enterprise business workflows

+ Experience supporting product updates, system enhancements, or enterprise technology implementations

+ Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail

+ Ability to translate business needs and user feedback into clear product requirements

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

+ Exposure to Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools

+ Experience working in a regulated or enterprise environment

+ Experience creating user documentation, training materials, or enablement content

+ Familiarity with product usage metrics, reporting, or adoption tracking

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
