We are hiring a Web Project Manager to take over our website offering and lead it end to end, from discovery and scoping through design, build, QA, and launch.

You will run the website pipeline, hold scope and launch dates, direct designers and developers, and own the client relationships those builds belong to. You will also raise the standard on 51 Labs’ own web presence.

You will report directly to leadership and work closely with the account team. You are client-facing.

• Take full ownership of the website service line, from intake through launch and handover
• Run the production pipeline, track every project and deadline, and keep work on time and on target
• Learn and operate within our software and project management systems

• Lead discovery meetings: understand the client, positioning, what the site actually has to accomplish
• Translate what a client asks for into a written scope, sitemap, and timeline the team can execute against
• Identify dependencies early and handle change requests before they turn into missed launch dates

• Direct designers through wireframe, design, and revision cycles, and hold the creative bar high
• Brief developers and manage the build through to a working staging site
• Coordinate copy, content migration, and asset collection

• Own QA: cross-browser and mobile review, forms, page speed, accessibility basics, and analytics setup
• Run client review and user acceptance testing, then prioritize fixes against the launch date
• Own launch day: DNS, redirects, indexing, and post-launch checks

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, and the person the client calls when something breaks
• Report status, risks, and decisions in writing on a predictable cadence
• Hold scope and timeline with the client directly

• Provide a second, senior layer of QC and direction so leadership is not the bottleneck
• Build and manage the team as volume scales

• Connect website work to the rest of the engagement - branding, Linked In, content, video - so the site matches how the client shows up everywhere else
• Elevate 51 Labs’ own web presence, and build reusable standards, components, and documented process

• A hands-on delivery leader who owns outcomes, not just tasks
• Someone who is comfortable handling accounts and managing upward
• Fast, frequent, and accurate in communication with a team mindset
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and self-directed in an entrepreneurial environment
• Able to rise to the occasion, learn our systems and the industry quickly, and raise the bar for everyone around them

• 3-5 years managing website design and development projects, agency or client-services side
• Launches you personally owned end to end - you can name the timeline, team, and budget
• Experience as the named client contact, rather than working behind an account lead
• Fluency with Word Press and comparable CMS platforms, Figma handoff, staging environments, QA
• Comfortable using AI tools, for example, to accelerate wire framing, QA testing, copy drafting, and technical SEO audits
• Enough technical literacy to brief a developer, diagnose a front-end problem, and hold your own on hosting, analytics, and technical SEO
