Quality Assurance Analyst
Position:
Quality Assurance Analyst
Duties:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design and implement quality assurance processes, including test strategies, plans, and traceability matrices ensuring comprehensive coverage of system specifications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and user interface applications using automation frameworks such as Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber with Java or Python.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing to verify software compliance with defined requirements and performance standards.
- Perform API testing using Postman and execute database validation using SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure data integrity and consistency across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools such as JIRA and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Lead quality assurance activities, implement risk-based testing approaches, and prepare detailed test reports summarizing results, progress, and deviations from project plans.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems plus two (2) years of experience as Quality Assurance Analyst, Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Computer Systems/Application Analyst, or related position. Foreign education equivalent accepted.
Skills required:
Offered Wage: $97,365.00 per year + insurance (medical, dental, and vision), short & long term disability, PTO (flexible time off), 401K and HSA
