Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced JDE Finance Functional Support Engineer with following key responsibilities:

+ Provide functional support for JD Edwards (JDE) Finance modules in a production environment, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.

+ Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues across core finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.

+ Work closely with business users to understand financial process pain points and translate them into effective JDE solutions.

+ Support period-end and year-end close activities, ensuring system readiness and minimal disruption to financial operations.

+ Collaborate with technical teams for bug fixes, patches, and minor enhancements, participating in testing and validation.

+ Document issue resolutions, workarounds, and configuration changes in the knowledge base for future reference.

+ Participate in root cause analysis for recurring finance issues and recommend preventive measures.

+ Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for change requests and enhancements related to finance modules

+ Work with offshore, nearshore, client and other vendors to make sure that JDE system is up & running

Basic Qualifications:

+  5+ years of hands-on functional experience with JD Edwards Finance modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, or related).

+  Solid understanding of core accounting principles and their application within JDE configurations.

+ Experience working in a production support or application maintenance environment.

+ Hands-on experience managing incidents and service requests through ITSM tool such as Service Now

+ Ability to independently troubleshoot functional issues and drive resolution with minimal supervision.

+ Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with finance business users and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Understanding of integration between JDE Finance and Supply Chain modules.

+ ITIL Foundation certification or working knowledge of ITIL service management practices.

+ Prior experience supporting finance operations in a global, multi-currency, or multi-site environment
