Database Administrator for Indian Applicants in Atlanta

We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our growing team in Atlanta. As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our companys databases ensuring data security and availability and implementing data backup and recovery strategies. This is a full-time position suitable for Indian applicants with a salary of $1000 per month.

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Install and configure database software and ensure its compatibility with other systems
• Implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure data security and availability
• Manage user access permissions to maintain data integrity
• Develop and test database updates or modifications to improve efficiency or resolve issues
• Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new databases or modify existing ones
• Create documentation for database structure procedures and guidelines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends developments and best practices related to database management

• Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of database structure theories principles and practices
• Good knowledge of SQL language MySQL Oracle and programming languages Java Python
• Familiarity with data backup recovery security procedures and tools
• Ability to troubleshoot database issues quickly and efficiently
• Excellent analytical thinking skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Certification in Database Administration eg Oracle Certified Professional is a plus
• Fluency in English is preferred but not required
