What you'll do

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Enterprise Architect to define and lead the enterprise technology strategy, target architecture, and transformation roadmap across the organization. This individual serves as a senior strategic leader responsible for aligning business objectives, operating models, data, applications, infrastructure, and emerging technologies to create a scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, business capability planning, application portfolio management, cloud transformation, AI-enabled solutions, governance, and technology modernization.

This role partners closely with business executives, product organizations, engineering teams, security, operations, and technology leaders to establish architecture standards, drive strategic investment decisions, and enable long-term business growth and innovation.

Define and lead enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture, and transformation roadmaps that align business objectives with scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions.

Partner with business executives, product organizations, engineering teams, security, operations, and technology leaders to understand business drivers and translate them into practical architecture direction.

Design high-level architectural blueprints across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies.

Guide technology selection, solution design, and implementation approach while ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture standards and long-term modernization goals.

Establish and promote architecture frameworks, governance processes, reusable patterns, standards, and practices across lines of business and value streams.

Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, and determine where they can create measurable business value.

Support strategic investment decisions by providing architecture insight, risk assessment, modernization recommendations, and executive-level guidance.

Serve as a senior technical advisor and mentor, helping teams solve complex architecture challenges and make sound technology decisions.

What you'll need

7+ years of related experience.
Experience with LeanIX or comparable enterprise architecture management, application portfolio management, or business capability mapping tools.
Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology strategy, or a closely related architecture leadership role.
Strong experience defining enterprise technology roadmaps, target-state architecture, modernization strategies, and architecture standards.
Hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions, AI strategy, or practical application of AI capabilities within enterprise technology environments.
Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, business capability planning, application portfolio management, cloud transformation, governance, and technology modernization.
Ability to work across business, product, engineering, security, operations, and technology teams to align solutions with enterprise goals.
Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and clearly communicate architecture vision, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations.
