The Sr. Data Analyst, Supplier Performance will focus on developing analytical processes, tools, and strategy to support the team's goal to create and maintain automation tools to enable faster and more efficient products and provide greater insight into supplier KPIs. The role requires considerable analytical and technical skills, and the ability to effectively describe those processes to leadership. The individual will work cross-functionally with business partners from Supply Chain, Product Management, IT, Finance, Operations, and Merchandising to translate operational processes and business questions into rule-based analytics.
Key Responsibilities- 50% Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin. Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives
- 20% Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis
- 10% Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs
- 20% Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions
- This position reports to Manager.

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- 4+ yrs business experience preferred
- Proficiency in findings insights using SQL (or Python) against large datasets
- Expertise in developing reporting using BI tools like Tableau or Looker
- Experience working in large data warehouse environments (preferably Google Big Query)
- Experience with Github and VS Code
- Mastery utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Understanding of how data schema impacts metric behavior and reporting
- Ability to design scalable data architectures and implement efficient data pipelines
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
