Job Summary

Provide support in the installation, operation and maintenance of computer systems. Position typically addresses a wide variety of applications, hardware, and networks. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with:
Unit management, faculty, and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel:
Users and other support personnel. This position will supervise: NA

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain and upgrade workstation and peripheral hardware and software.
  • Analyze and resolve workstation, application, and server related problems.
  • Update desktop software/applications; maintain documentation on installed applications.
  • Provide users with assistance in working in specific applications.
  • Participate in development of standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate GTPD public safety programs, outreach requests, presentations, and educational initiatives from initial request through completion.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, campus departments, student organizations, and community partners.
  • Coordinate program schedules, locations, attendance, instructors, staffing, room requirements, and other event logistics.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating GTPD participation in campus events, safety fairs, resource fairs, tabling events, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate officer, Public Safety Officer, and instructor participation in outreach programs and events.
