Pharmacy Systems Specialist

B. Braun is seeking a Pharmacy Systems Specialist to support and optimize pharmacy information systems that enhance patient safety and medication management. In this role, you will configure and maintain pharmacy software, support integrations with infusion and dispensing technologies, and collaborate closely with pharmacists, clinicians, and IT. You will analyze workflows, troubleshoot issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead testing and training for upgrades and new implementations in a highly collaborative, learning-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize pharmacy information systems to support safe medication management
• Collaborate with pharmacists, IT, and clinical teams to translate workflow needs into system solutions
• Support system integrations with infusion, compounding, and dispensing technologies
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance within pharmacy systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures
• Train pharmacy and clinical staff on new features, upgrades, and best practices
• Participate in system validation, testing, and change control activities
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and safety
• Support implementation of new pharmacy technology initiatives and upgrades
