Job Title:Microsoft Lists Specialist Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who specializes in designing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions built in Microsoft Lists. This role is responsible for creating scalable lists, managing data integrity, automating workflows, and supporting teams in using Lists for tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft Lists Management
- Design, build, and maintain custom Microsoft Lists for tracking projects, tasks, assets, requests, and operational workflows.
- Develop list structures including columns, views, filters, and conditional formatting to support team needs.
- Manage permissions, access controls, and list governance.
Automation & Integration
- Configure list rules and set up automated workflows using Power Automate (e.g., notifications, approvals, data synchronization).
- Integrate Lists with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ensure data accuracy and optimize list performance.
Data Quality & Reporting
- Establish standards for data entry, naming, formatting, and list lifecycle management.
- Create custom views, calendars, and dashboards for reporting and decision support.
- Periodically audit lists to ensure compliance and cleanliness.
User Support & Training
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Microsoft Lists questions and enhancements.
- Provide training, documentation, and best practices to end users and teams.
- Troubleshoot issues and guide users in adopting Lists effectively.
Required
- Strong experience using Microsoft Lists in a business environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Planner).
- Experience building automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with JSON for advanced list formatting (conditional formatting, custom views).
- Experience in process improvement or business operations.
- Familiarity with Power Apps for form customization.
- Background in project coordination, operations, or information management.
