About the Role:

The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within an organization. This position is responsible to design and maintain existing Hub Spot Systems.

Job Responsibilities

System Administration & Configuration

• Configure and maintain Hub Spot automation workflows, email templates, and forms
• Design and implement solutions using company tools to meet the business’ needs (Hub Spot Specific: workflows, sequences, lists, custom objects, etc.)
• Conduct regular audits of workflows, lists, data, and properties to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain data quality and consistency across multiple systems
• Develop and enforce data governance standards for contact properties, custom objects, and workflows

Requirements & Documentation

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across marketing, sales, and customer success teams
• Document system configurations and maintain technical documentation
• Create documentation and standard operating procedures
• Develop and execute testing plans for new configurations
• Lead Hub Spot related projects from requirements through implementation
• Coordinate with business, IT, marketing, and sales teams on system changes
• Offer operational and technical support for day to day issues as reported
• Stay current with Hub Spot updates and new features
• Data, Integration & Reporting
• Integrate Hub Spot with other business systems (CRM, marketing tools, etc.)
• Monitor data synchronization and work with Integrations Team to resolve any integration issues
• Create custom reports and dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics
• Recommend process improvements based on system capabilities and best practices

Job Requirements (including Education)

Required Experience:

• 3+ years administering Hub Spot, with demonstrated expertise in workflows, custom objects, and integrations
• Advanced knowledge of Hub Spot's core features including Marketing Hub, workflows, sequences, custom objects, and reporting tools
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and technical documentation
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Project management experience, particularly with technical implementations
• Knowledge of marketing and sales operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field
• Experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to improve personal and business process efficiency
• Hub Spot certifications (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, or Operations Hub)
• Experience designing scalable integration architecture (API limits, error handling, data mapping documentation)
• Familiarity with data privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, or general PII handling)
• Data analysis and visualization skills
