Overview
We're looking for a Travel Network Engineer to support global network and IT operations across multiple international locations. This role is ideal for someone with strong Cisco networking skills who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting a variety of technologies, and traveling extensively.
Important Requirements:
+ Active CCNA required
+ Valid Passport required (or ability to obtain one immediately)
+ Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally and domestically (typically 2-3 weeks per month)
+ Participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24x7 operations
What You'll Be Doing
+ Install, configure, upgrade, and support Cisco routers and switches.
+ Provide Level 2 and Level 3 network support for global environments.
+ Troubleshoot network, server, desktop, and infrastructure issues.
+ Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix.
+ Configure and support LAN/WAN infrastructure.
+ Perform system administration and network monitoring tasks.
+ Assist with server deployments, software installations, backups, and storage management.
+ Work directly with customers, local IT teams, and leadership to communicate technical issues and solutions.
+ Support international offices and foreign nationals in a customer-facing environment.
+ Maintain documentation and network management tools.
Must-Have Skills
+ Active CCNA Certification
+ 4+ years of Cisco networking experience
+ Experience installing and upgrading Cisco routers and switches
+ Strong troubleshooting skills across networking and IT infrastructure

+ Active Directory
+ VMware
+ Microsoft 365
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers and leadership

+ Data center support experience
+ BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPN technologies
+ Previous experience supporting global enterprise environments

Education & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
+ 4+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience
+ 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 environments
Ideal Candidate
+ Strong Cisco networking background with hands-on implementation experience
+ Comfortable wearing multiple hats across networking, servers, and desktop support
+ Self-starter who can work independently in remote and international environments
+ Excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
+ Enjoys travel and working in diverse global settings
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
