Tooling Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Tooling Engineer with expertise in enterprise delivery platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering and platform engineering, particularly in CI/CD environments, with a focus on owning and defining architectural standards.

• 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or platform engineering, including senior architecture leadership on distributed, high-availability systems.
• Experience in payments, fintech, merchant services, or a comparably regulated transaction-processing domain.
• Ownership of an enterprise CI/CD platform with pipeline-as-code, templating and reuse at scale, RBAC design, secrets management, and multi-team governance.
• Experience integrating security scanning into delivery pipelines and setting policy gates that engineering teams accept rather than route around.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Hands-on Harness across multiple modules, particularly STO, SEI, or CCM.
• Policy-as-code experience (OPA/Rego or comparable).
• Cloud cost management or Fin Ops practice ownership; showback or chargeback implementation.

• Own the enterprise delivery platform and define architectural standards.
• Establish CI/CD practices and orchestrate security testing within delivery pipelines.
• Responsible for cloud cost management and ensuring the adoption of modern platform capabilities.
