We’re looking for a candidate who spe cia lizes in HPC Linux systems to help us identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in mission-critical work.
As a HPC and Linux Systems Spe cia list on our project, you’ll maintain the current on-prem architecture and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest te chn ology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with systems automation scripting in Bash, Perl, or Python
5+ years of experience with Linux systems administration, including automated OS provisioning, sof tware updates and package management, user accounts management, file systems and access management, compiling sof tware and kernel modules, versioning, or environment modules
Experience configuring, deploying, and managing batch queueing systems for HPC clusters such as SGE, LSF, or Slurm
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing HPC environments
Knowledge of system performance monitoring and actions that can be taken to improve or correct performance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience coordinating with change control and environment management, network, and security teams
Experience in automation of server deployment, common tasks, and installation procedures
Experience developing systems monitoring dashboards and using monitoring tools
Experience with containers such as Singularity or Docker
Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Vetting:

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
