Lead IT Cybersecurity Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Chief Information Officer, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Applicants for the Information Technology Management series, 2210 at the GS-14 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:

You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

• Leading or directing the work of a cyber threat intelligence team or analytical function, including assigning tasks, reviewing work products, and providing technical guidance to analysts.
• Conducting or directing all-source analysis of cyber threat data, integrating multiple intelligence disciplines, to assess relevance and impact to organizational networks and systems.
• Overseeing the production, review, and dissemination of finished cyber threat intelligence products tailored to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Leading and supervising CTI analysts; managing threat intelligence projects and programs supporting organizational objectives. Coordinating and integrating CTI activities across cyber operations and federal partners. Assigning work, mentor staff, and identify training needs, brief findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders; reporting on team performance, progress, and resource requirements.
