Install, repair, rebuild and service mechanical locking devices located at various entry points on and within campus buildings. Maintain related records. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: coworkers, facility forepersons, contractors and vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. Install/replace locking devises at locations as assigned.

Assemble/disassemble locks; repair/replace worn parts.

Cut keys by code or by tracing.

Store and maintain master keys for campus facilities.

Requisition parts and materials as directed.

Maintain records

Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Two to three years of job related experience

This job requires a working knowledge of and skills in lock and access equipment installation and maintenance. Related skills in proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, maintaining stock and providing customer service are also required as is use of specialized computer applications.
