The Haider Lab in the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Georgia Tech seeks a highly organized and motivated individual for a Research Technician position. The main responsibilities of the position will be:
1) organization, design, and procurement of equipment and reagents that enable in vivo electrical and optical recordings from mice engaged in behavioral tasks, and
2) maintenance, husbandry, and health monitoring of a transgenic mouse colony.
3) assistance in training of transgenic mice (including models of neurological disease) in sophisticated visual perception tasks.
