NTT DATA's Client is seeking an experienced Technology Consultant - Cloud & Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise across Hybrid Cloud, AWS/Azure, Apache Spark, Java Full Stack development, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The ideal candidate will have experience developing and modernizing enterprise applications while supporting cloud migration, platform reliability, security, and vulnerability remediation initiatives.
The role requires close collaboration with application, cloud, infrastructure, security, and Dev Ops teams to build secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing enterprise solutions.
Day to DayJob Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern UI technologies.
- Support application and infrastructure modernization across hybrid cloud, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Contribute to cloud migration initiatives, including transition of workloads from Azure to AWS.
- Develop and support data processing solutions using Apache Spark.
- Design and integrate REST APIs and Microservices with enterprise applications and data platforms.
- Support production applications following SRE principles, focusing on availability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Identify, assess, and remediate application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerability findings and security compliance requirements.
- Implement automation for deployments, monitoring, operational activities, and vulnerability remediation.
- Troubleshoot complex application, cloud, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, release activities, and Agile ceremonies.
- Work with Dev Ops teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and improve application deployment processes.
- 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise application development.
- 4+ years of experience working with AWS/Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
- 3+ years of experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, production reliability, vulnerability management, and application security remediation.
- Experience migrating applications and workloads from Azure to AWS.
- Experience with Angular, React, or other modern front-end technologies.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, Cloud Formation, or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, RDS, and Cloud Watch.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and security tools such as Snyk, Sonar Qube, Checkmarx, Qualys, or Veracode.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, encryption, and security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and enterprise production environments.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.
-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $55-$62/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
