Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Desktop Packaging Engineer is responsible for building, testing, and deploying Windows and macOS application packages to support enterprise software delivery and time-sensitive vulnerability remediation, including zero-day threats. This role partners closely with application owners, security, deployment, and support teams to ensure all software is packaged securely, reliably, and in alignment with established SLAs and governance standards.

This position plays a critical role in rapidly converting vendor patches and emergency security fixes into production-ready packages, supporting forced deployments, and enabling timely remediation of High, Critical, and zero-day vulnerabilities across the endpoint environment. You will operate in a dynamic environment that requires both technical depth and the ability to respond quickly to emerging risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop moderately complex application packaging solutions and supporting infrastructure components.
  • Ensure packaging solutions align with end-to-end platform performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Author and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support packaging and deployment processes.
  • Independently monitor and analyze advanced performance and capacity metrics to optimize technology solutions and ensure SLA adherence.
Minimum Required Experiences:
  • 2 years of experience in desktop engineering or application packaging
  • Proven experience with SCCM / MECM, Workspace One, or Microsoft Intune
  • Application Packaging (MSI, MSIX, App-V)
  • Power Shell scripting
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS (10/11)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and change management processes
  • Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work
Desired Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with Azure AD / Endpoint security tools
  • VDI (Citrix, VMWare Horizon)
  • Experience with Dev Ops practices and automation pipelines
  • Knowledge of OS imaging and provisioning (MDT, Autopilot)
