Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role owns all technology that drives consumer revenue and serves as the primary technology partner to the Digital and Growth Business teams. The VP, Consumer Technologies is responsible for the vision, architecture, delivery, and operation of consumer-facing digital platforms including mobile applications, web experiences, first-party digital ordering, third-party marketplace integrations, loyalty platforms, catering experiences, subscription and reorder capabilities, and the marketing technology ecosystem.
The role combines deep engineering, architecture, and commercial expertise to create industry-leading customer experiences and accelerate digital growth.

The VP, Consumer Technologies is responsible for the vision, architecture, delivery, and operation of consumer-facing digital platforms including mobile applications, web experiences, first-party digital ordering, third-party marketplace integrations, loyalty platforms, catering experiences, subscription and reorder capabilities, and the marketing technology ecosystem.
The role combines deep engineering, architecture, and commercial expertise to create industry-leading customer experiences and accelerate digital growth.
- Lead digital platform strategy across mobile, web, loyalty, ordering, catering, subscriptions, and Martech.
- Partner closely with Digital Business leadership to jointly define priorities, roadmaps, and growth initiatives.
- Own architecture, engineering delivery, reliability, and modernization of digital platforms.
- Deliver best-in-class consumer experiences benchmarked against leading consumer applications across all industries.
- Drive customer acquisition, conversion optimization, customer lifetime value, personalization, reorder frequency, and subscription growth.
- Oversee 3rd-party marketplace integrations and omnichannel commerce experiences.
- Build and develop a high-performing engineering and platform organization.
- Manage budgets, vendors, roadmaps, and technology investments.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 12-15+ years building and scaling consumer-facing digital products.
- Engineering leadership background preferred.
- Experience leading enterprise-grade digital platforms and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with loyalty, eCommerce, subscriptions, personalization, and marketing technology platforms.
- Restaurant/QSR experience preferred but not required.
- Deep expertise in consumer digital products and experiences.
- Strong loyalty platform, personalization, and lifecycle management experience.
- Strong commerce background including conversion optimization, sales funnel performance, subscriptions, and reorder mechanics.
- Deep knowledge of Martech and marketing automation ecosystems.
- Ability to make platform architecture and engineering decisions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills.
- Experience with cloud-native platforms, APIs, Dev Ops, modern security practices, and data-driven decision making.
