Basic Function

ALTA Language Services seeks a seasoned, professional interpreter to support training students practicing interpretation skills. The interpreter will utilize the curriculum and methods provided by ALTA.

• Provide telephonic and/or video‑remote coaching services
• Complete feedback reports promptly
• Maintain excellent and punctual communication at all times
• Adhere to the ALTA curriculum and teaching method
• Participate in consistent trainings with ALTA to learn updated materials and processes
• Provide superior customer service to students
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Certificate from a reputable 40‑hour medical interpreter training course
• National Certificate in Interpretation (Preferred)
• Graduate of Breaking Boundaries in Healthcare (Preferred)
• College degree from a four‑year institution
• Basic audio/visual/computer skills

At least 2 years of professional interpretation experience after completing a 40‑hour medical interpreter training course. Experience as both a contracted and staff interpreter for a total minimum of 1 year.

Hourly rate $30.00–$40.00, based on language coached, education, qualifications, experience, and market factors.

Full‑time / Part‑time, contingent.

Part‑time employees are not eligible for ALTA‑sponsored benefits.

Remote.
