Overview
CONSTRUCTION LAW & LITIGATION | IN-HOUSE COUNSEL (3–5 YRS): Our client, a local construction company, is seeking its first in-house attorney to support the company’s continued growth and expanding legal needs
. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership in a hands-on environment handling a blend of construction-related contracts, compliance matters, and litigation oversight within a dynamic and fast-paced construction company.
The successful candidate will assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction and vendor contracts, supporting company-wide compliance initiatives, and managing or coordinating litigation matters alongside outside counsel
. Responsibilities include advising internal stakeholders on risk management, reviewing project documentation, assisting with dispute resolution strategies, and providing practical legal guidance aligned with business objectives
. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fully in-person environment, demonstrate strong ownership over their work, and thrive in a role offering significant responsibility and autonomy as the company’s first attorney hire
.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction and vendor contracts, supporting company-wide compliance initiatives, and managing or coordinating litigation matters alongside outside counsel.

- Operate in a fully in-person environment with ownership over work and autonomy as the company’s first attorney hire.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–5 years experience
; strong contract drafting and analytical skills; excellent communication and organizational abilities; and active Georgia Bar admission in good standing.
Construction litigation or construction law is preferred.
