Commercial Litigation Associate

Offit Kurman is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join our growing Atlanta office. We are looking for a motivated litigator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take on meaningful responsibility while working alongside experienced attorneys.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling significant case responsibility. This role offers hands‑on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow within a firm that values entrepreneurship, teamwork, and long‑term career development.
Responsibilities- Drafting and responding to written discovery
- Preparing pleadings, dispositive motions, and briefs
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Appearing in court for hearings and conferences
- Managing matters from inception through resolution
- Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Collaborating with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy
- 3+ years of experience in general commercial litigation and/or insurance defense litigation
- Experience in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred:
- Employment litigation
- Multi‑party litigation
- Construction defense
- Property‑casualty loss matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience managing cases with increasing independence
- Admission to the Georgia Bar required
