Legal Assistant

Description

Robert Half is seeking a legal assistant to support a national law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In this highly visible role, you will help drive success in our entertainment practice, providing comprehensive administrative and legal support for a variety of high-profile clients and matters.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate entertainment industry travel and events.

+ Draft legal correspondence and contracts, review documents, and assist with eDiscovery for litigation and transactional matters.

+ Support compliance, contract management, and intellectual property filings, including copyright and trademark applications.

+ Maintain case files, track deadlines, and help with billing and expense reporting.

+ Assist with the preparation of filings for entertainment-related litigation and regulatory matters.

+ Liaise with clients, talent representatives, studios, and other industry professionals, ensuring seamless communication and professionalism.

Requirements

+ Previous experience as a legal assistant/legal secretary/legal practice assistant.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing.

+ Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and case management.

+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

+ Effective communication skills to liaise with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.

+ Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

+ Certification or degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.
