Legal Secretary
We are seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join our Atlanta litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting complex business disputes from inception through trial.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in business or commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of Georgia state and federal court procedures
- Experience drafting and responding to discovery
- Trial preparation experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in e-filing and legal document management systems
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of business litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Manage and organize case files (electronic and physical)
- Coordinate document production and review
- Maintain case calendars and track critical deadlines
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Prepare trial materials, exhibits, and witness binders
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
- Support attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trial
