Trueline's client, a nationally recognized law firm with a strong presence across the Southeast and major U.S. markets, is seeking a Litigation Administrative Assistant to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a high-visibility role supporting a busy civil defense litigation practice, ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being a key contributor to case strategy and client service.
WhatYou'll Do as the Litigation Administrative Assistant:
- Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Manage electronic court filings in state and federal systems
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
- Track discovery, manage document productions, and coordinate downloads and uploads
- Schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings while maintaining complex attorney calendars
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with trial preparation and logistics
- Support billing processes, review time entries, and monitor accounts receivable
- Process expense reports and assist with matter opening, closing, and conflicts checks
- 3-5 years of civil defense litigation experience
- Hands‑on experience with e‑filing in state and federal courts
- Strong understanding of legal billing procedures and collections support
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Exceptional proofreading skills with strong grammar and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Self‑starter mindset with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with document management systems such as iManage or Filesite
- Familiarity with Dropbox or One Drive
- Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys in a mid‑to‑large law firm environment
