Role Description

This is a full-time, exempt, remote role for a Workers' Compensation Attorney. The attorney will manage and oversee GA workers’ compensation cases from inception to resolution, maintain a caseload, and provide legal guidance to clients.

Case managers take the lead on day-to-day admin tasks, client follow-ups, and case coordination which allows our attorneys to focus on strategy, case oversights, and high advocacy, while still remaining meaningfully engaged in the client experience.

This role is ideal for an attorney who is proactive, strategic, and collaborative, and who values both autonomy in managing their caseload and the support of a strong team. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary for an agreed upon temporary period, followed by compensation that is fully commission.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
  • 2+ years of experience in general liability, insurance coverage, or workers' compensation defense.
  • Familiarity with the interplay between workers' compensation and third-party cases; willingness to support other attorneys as needed.
  • Excellent research, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Self-starting with the ability to think independently and manage priorities effectively
  • High level of professionalism, motivation, and client service
  • Comfortable and effective working in a fully remote environment
