Job SummaryWe are seeking a Logistics Intern to support supply chain and logistics operations within the Americas Region at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA. This hands‑on, entry‑level role focuses on order processing, shipment coordination, and operational tracking while supporting import/export activities and inventory management. Qualified candidates must live in the Atlanta, GA area during the internship.
What You’ll Be Doing Essential Functions (include but are not limited to)- Assist in creating and processing Sales Order (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP
- Support import/export logistics coordination with freight forwarders and 3PL partners
- Prepare shipping and customs documentation to ensure compliance with international trade requirements
- Monitor inventory transactions and assist with reconciliation across warehouse locations
- Track and support resolution of damaged or lost goods claims
- Track order and shipment status, providing timely updates on delivery schedules
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding order and shipment status
- Assist in preparing reports on order accuracy and delivery performance
- Assist with data analysis and reporting using SAP, Excel, or other tools
- Support documentation and tracking of logistics processes
- Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
Students must be currently enrolled in their Junior or Senior year, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Requirements- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internship or academic)
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
- Interest in global supply chain operations
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in an international, cross‑cultural environment
The position is based in a corporate office environment and involves standard office working conditions. The role primarily consists of administrative and professional responsibilities performed in an indoor office setting, including the regular use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment. The work environment is collaborative and fast‑paced, requiring interaction with employees and stakeholders across the organization during regular business hours.
