Planning Support Specialist, Nefab Packaging Southeast
Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. We are now strengthening our Planning team with a Planning Support Specialist who will serve as a key link between Nefab’s supply chain operations and our customers’ packaging and logistics needs.
This position is located in the Fairburn, GA, area, and reports to the Planning Manager. The Planning Support Specialist will translate customer demand signals into actionable packaging plans, ensuring supply chain partners deliver on commitments, and manage performance reporting across internal and external stakeholders. The role contributes directly to service reliability, cost competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Job Summary- Develop a deep understanding of customers' goods flow, supply networks, volume forecasts, and seasonality patterns to translate demand into packaging requirements.
- Collaborate with Customer Project Managers to align on and communicate weekly and daily plans. Leverage data analytics and KPI-driven insights to drive successful operations and informed decision‑making.
- Ensure Nefab sites and supply chain partners deliver to plan; identify deviations and take corrective action to improve supply capabilities.
- Report performance and deviations to management and customer stakeholders; escalation issues internally and externally when delivery performance is at risk.
- Track and control that deliveries are executed according to plan.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive overview of all stakeholders and key data to support global account management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- IBF or ASCM certification (CPF, CPIM, or CSCP) is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Sales Planning in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Multi‑source data analysis and forecasting skills, with comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, customers, and manufacturers.
- Familiarity with Infor M3, SAP, or equivalent ERP/planning systems.
- Organized and detail‑oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Adaptable and solutions‑oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
